Independence begins with the right support. Alexander’s Supported Living provides specialist, person-centred care for adults living with mental health conditions, autism and learning disabilities, enabling safe, sustainable independence within the community.

Working in partnership with individuals, families, local authorities and NHS services across Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset, we deliver structured, compassionate support shaped around each person’s goals. Our approach bridges the space between clinical services and everyday life, providing stability, dignity and reassurance at every stage of the journey.

Care Rooted in Experience

Alexander’s Supported Living was established to bridge the gap between clinical mental health services and everyday community living. Since 1986, we have supported adults across Hampshire and Surrey with structured, specialist care delivered in their own homes. Our work focuses on stability, dignity and long-term independence, ensuring individuals receive consistent support that adapts to their needs and promotes meaningful outcomes.

As part of the wider Park Group, care is embedded in our DNA. Founded by frontline carers who understood the importance of quality and continuity, ASL continues to uphold those principles today. We work closely with local authorities, NHS teams and families to provide accountable, person-centred support — combining compassion with professional governance and clear oversight.

What Supported Living Means at ASL

Supported living is about building the right structure around each person, not doing things for them, but alongside them. At ASL, support is shaped around individual strengths, preferences and goals, enabling people to live safely and confidently within their own homes. Through consistency, clear communication and specialist understanding, we focus on outcomes that create lasting independence.

"What stands out most is the relationships our staff build — they listen, adapt, and celebrate every achievement. "

Faye Underdown, Services Manager Park Group Care

How Support Works

Support usually begins with a referral from an individual, family member or professional partner. We carry out a structured assessment to understand strengths, needs and goals, then agree a personalised support plan. Every plan is shaped collaboratively and designed to promote stability, safety and long-term independence.

Once support begins, our team works consistently to deliver care in line with the agreed plan. Support is reviewed regularly and adapted as needs evolve. We maintain close communication with families and professional partners to ensure care remains coordinated, accountable and responsive.

Accommodation and Supported Living

For individuals who require supported accommodation alongside their care package, ASL works in partnership with housing providers and local authorities to ensure safe, appropriate living environments. Our role is to provide consistent, specialist support that promotes stability, dignity and independence at home.
